Congress shown faith on 10 former MPs, Vaibhav on Jodhpur and Manvendra will give challenge to BJP on Barmer

Jaipur : After a long wait, Congress has released the first list of Rajasthan candidates, in which the party has announced 19 names of  its candidates. In such a situation, the names of congress candidates to be declared on 6 seats out of all 25 seats in Rajasthan now.

On Thursday, a meeting of Central Election Committee of Congress was held in Delhi for selection of the name of candidates in Rajasthan's Lok Sabha seats. After this meeting, the names of candidates for 19 seats Lok Sabha seats if Rajasthan were announced. While, on the other hand, due to this meeting, the election programs of Rajasthan Chief Minister Ashok Gehlot and Deputy CM Sachin Pilot were canceled.

Notably, None of the minister got the ticket, so far in the first list. The party has shown faith once again on 10 former MPs. Earlier there was speculation of Jyoti Mirdha's ticket from Nagaur would be cut and her joining the BJP. However, BJP has denied the reports of Jyothi Mirdha's joining, now congress has announced her name as candidate from Nagaur seat.

Lok Sabha elections in the country will be held in 7 phases from April 11 to May 19, while counting on May 23 will be held. Polling for the first phase to be held on April 11, second phase on April 18, third phase on April 23, fourth phase on 29 April, fifth phase on May 6, sixth phase on May 12 and seventh phase of voting will be held on May 19.
