Honda 2 Wheelers India extends support to Nav Disha Sansthan - Alwar
Alwar : Honda Motorcycle & Scooter India has announced its association with Nav Disha Sansthan extending its CSR support to empower the visually challenged children in Alwar. The new infrastructure was inaugurated in the august presence of Anshdeep - (IAS), Zila Parishad, CEO, Alwar, Dr. Aakashdeep Arora - (RAS), Deputy Director Panchayati Raj, Jaipur, Rajasthan, Avnish Malik - Director Navdisha Sansthan, and Harbhajan Singh – Director, General & Corporate Affairs, Honda Motorcycle & Scooter India.
Honda 2 Wheelers has developed infrastructure such as construction of toilets, installation of water coolers and purifiers for pure drinking water along with special aid equipment that includes ‘DAISY Players’ (Digital Accessible Information System), a technical standard for digital audio books, periodicals and computerized text.
DAISY is designed to be a complete audio substitute for print material and is specifically designed for use by people with blindness and impaired vision. The mega support will be helping training of 360 specially-abled person in this current year of 2018.
