BJP leader from Meghalaya has said the party would make beef cheaper if voted to power in the northeastern state which is a due for assembly election next year.
Bernard Marak’s promise comes at the time when the BJP-led union government is facing severe criticism for its recent directive banning sale and purchase of cattle from animal markets for slaughter.
