Tibetan PM in exile offers condolences to victims of Paris Terrorist Attacks

Dharmshala : In the wake of the deadly terrorist attacks in the French Capital of Paris, Prime Minister of Tibetan Government in exile Dr. Lobsang Sangay, the political leader of the Tibetan people expressed his profound condolences to the victims and condemned the barbaric attack.

“I offer my sincere condolences to the families and friends of the victims and strongly condemn the barbaric and cowardly attacks undertaken by a few misguided fanatics,” Sangay said.

“Terrorism is an attack on mankind and those who perpetrate such attacks do not represent any faith or community. It is a scourge and cannot be justified in any way through moral, political or religious affiliations,” he added.

“This brutal and inhumane attack once again reinforces the need for coordinated and collaborative international approach to combat terrorism and restore security and stability in the world.”

“The Tibetan people stand united with the people of France in this dark and painful time, and hope the perpetrators of this ghastly act will be brought to justice soon,” he said.

A deadly coordinated gun-and-suicide-bombing attacks took place across Paris on Saturday, 14 November that left at least 129 people dead and 352 injured. The so-called ‘Islamic State’ owned responsibility for the attacks.
