Ameesha Patel feels invades privacy of women over the 'girly problem'

Mumbai : Actress Ameesha Patel, who appears in mainly Bollywood movies and also in Telugu films, was forced to reveal that she did not stand when the anthem was played because she had the monthly girly problem.

TV star Kushal Tandon's charge that she remained seated through the national anthem at a Mumbai movie hall over the weekend.

In a series of angry tweets posted on yesterday evening, the 40-year-old actress was forced to reveal that, she why didn't stand up during the National anthem played. She told in her tweets that, "had the monthly girly problem. Getting up wud have caused a blood flow on the theatre ground."

Actually, It all begans when Kushal Tandon, who described to Ameesha as a 'jackass,' posted this tweet on Saturday. He said in the tweet that, "Wel was watching this movie at Pvr Juhu. Had a last row, the national anthem was on bang on down my seat on the next row. Opp me saw a girl setting while the anthem was on. And everyone was standing up......"


After the tweet Ameesha Patel responded with a series of angry tweets, He posted that, "Whoever that so called kushal Tandon is is a a real jackass n invades privacy of women."




While Ameesha might not have recognised Kushal, he is familiar to the TV-watching public as Virat from Ek Hazaaron Mein Meri Behna Hain. Twitter opinion was divided, with some taking Aneesha's side and others on Kushal's.



Ameesha Patel made her acting debut in the blockbuster movie 'Kaho Naa Pyaar Hai' in 2000, she won critical praise for her performance in 'Gadar: Ek Prem Katha' in 2001. She was last seen in 'Shortcut Romeo' movie in 2013 with Neil Nitin Mukesh and Puja Gupta.
