'Tanu Weds Manu Returns' break the record of SRK's 'Chennai Express'

Mumbai : The 'Queen' star Kangana Ranaut and R Madhavan's 'Tanu Weds Manu Returns', which has been released on 22nd May this year, broken the Week 2 Box Office record of Shah Rukh khan's 'Chennai Express' and it is still going strong and counting money on box office.

The production house claims that the second week collection of Tanu Weds Manu Returns (28 crore) is higher than that of second week collections of Chennai Express (23 crore).

Tanu weds manu returns becomes in fifth after films like PK, Krrish 3, Dhoom 3 and Kick for their week two collections ensuring that both the film and Kangana are definitely in the big league with Aamir, Salman, Hrithik.

The Film has made to 100 Cr at global box office collections and Kangana proves it again. Kangana Ranaut is the Ultimate 'Queen' of Bollywood and she is not going to stop.

Directed by Anand L. Rai, "Tanu Weds Manu Returns" is a sequel to the filmmaker's 2011 hit film "Tanu Weds Manu". It focusses on the rediscovery of love between a married couple, and features Kangana in a double role and has a supporting cast of actors Jimmy Sheirgill, Deepak Dobriyal and Swara Bhaskar.
