What did say Priyanka Gandhi on joining the active politics
During inspection of city resource centre, Priyanka was requested by local corporator Dharmendra Dwivedi to join active politics of the state to which she smilingly said, "Hame yahin rahne do, wahan kyun bhej rahe ho (i.e. Let us stay here, why are sending there)?"
Virtually Priyanka said this, turning down local Congress leaders' requests to join active politics. Even before Priyanka have been requested to joining active politics by Congress leaders from various parts of the state.
However, she has confined herself to Rae Bareli and Amethi, constituencies of her mother Sonia and brother Rahul Gandhi, and always ruled out joining active politics beyond these two.
